Generational Diversity in the Legal Profession
This program explores shifting generational dynamics within the practice of law and varied approaches to change, with a portion of the discussion focusing on how generations engage with each other and within shifting environments. The program also provides an overview of the generations represented in the workplace, highlighting how to engage varied groups and promote collaboration and cross-generational cooperation to improve client outcomes. The program will incorporate the Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct and discuss attorney obligations for communication/interaction with clients and others, as well as how to be sure working with different generations in your law firm doesn’t lead to loss of integrity, misconduct or anything else that might undermine your duty to your client. Attendees will learn:
How to better understand and bridge the gap and best understand the unique characteristics, expectations, and communication styles of various generations on their legal teams and within their client base;
Valuable perspectives and practical strategies for leveraging the strengths of the different generations within their practice; and
How to create a multi-generational workplace that thrives with enhanced collaboration and productivity.
